    whoneedsfeminism: “I need feminism because I am smart and beautiful. But because of my pretty face, I am considered nothing more. In our society, my intelligence is not recognized because pretty women can’t be intelligent. I feel like this means I will never be successful. That’s not fair.” Why I have spent most of my life trying to alter my appearance so I am no longer known as the pretty one, but rather the interesting one.
